What You'll Need

Application Requirements

Completed Online Application + $50 Fee

Non-refundable application fee of $50. Applications accepted on a rolling basis.

Official Transcripts

Official high school transcript or GED (UG). Bachelor's degree minimum 3.0 GPA required for M.Div. M.Div. or equivalent required for D.Min.

Personal Statement

Undergraduate: 750–1,000 word personal statement. Graduate (M.Div.): 1,500-word theological reflection essay. Doctoral (D.Min.): 2,500-word ministry problem statement.

Ministry References

One pastoral reference (UG). Two ministry references (M.Div.). Three professional references (D.Min.). Faculty admissions interview required for graduate applicants.

Rolling Admissions

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. While we accept applications up to the regular deadline, submitting by the priority deadline ensures maximum consideration for financial aid and preferred course scheduling.

First-Time Freshmen

High school graduates or GED recipients applying for their first undergraduate degree.

Students transferring from other accredited institutions with college credit.

Graduate Students

Applicants to M.Div. and D.Min. programs through the Arrington School of Graduate Studies.

  • Active ministry involvement + résumé

FINANCIAL AID

Making Education Accessible

Ignite University does not participate in federal Title IV aid programs. Instead, we keep tuition low and offer the Ignite Tuition Payment Program (ITPP) — interest-free installment plans that make each semester financially manageable.

Full Payment Discount

Pay full semester balance before classes begin and receive a 5% early-payment discount

Installment Plans (ITPP)

2, 3, or 4-payment plans — all interest-free. $35 enrollment fee applies.

Monthly Auto-Pay

Spread degree cost over 12, 24, or 36 months via ACH for committed multi-year students
