About the CPED

Not a conference. Not a certificate weekend. A formation program.

The Center for Professional Equipping & Development at Ignite University is an independent professional formation division established to fill a critical gap in the Body of Christ — the absence of structured, credentialed, non-degree formation pathways for recognized prophetic and apostolic leaders.

CPED does not offer undergraduate or graduate degrees. It offers something rarer: a one-year immersive program that holds leaders to a professional standard, provides a catechetical framework for understanding their office, and culminates in a structured Commissioning process — not a ceremony, but a credentialing event.

This is formation at the weight class the office demands.

What Makes the CPED Different

Six Distinctives. None negotiable.

I.

Office-Specific Formation

Every module is written for the prophetic or apostolic office, not for general ministry development.

II.

Three-Component Model

Biblical & Theological Education, Apostleship/Prophetic Education & Training, and Mentorship Training — all three required.

III.

Readiness Assessment Philosophy

Commissioning is earned through demonstrated readiness, not attendance. The Doma and APEX-6 ensure this.

IV.

Commissioning Integrity

CPED does not commission people who are not ready. The Inquest panel holds the standard.

V.

Cohort-Based Formation

You do not go through this program alone. Your cohort is your accountability structure and your formation community.

VI.

Apostolo Commissario Framework

The Epitrope Academy is grounded in the catechetical framework of Apostolo Commissario by Chancellor Dr. Corey D. Butler D.Min.
